Contrary to transport of single consignment (Groupage Freight, Partial Truck Load Fright), Full Truck Load Freight service use one means of transport for the whole load, which is selected by the company who manages the transport (shipping company) according to relevant criteria selected by customer (size, weight, volume).

The means of transport is selected with regard to efficiency, speed, and economy.

In this type of transportation, the highest priority is speed and reliability of the services. The aim of express transport is fast shipment of the goods to the final destination.

The consignments are transferred in one means of transport, which is selected by the company who manages the transport (shipping company) according to relevant criteria selected by customer (size, weight, volume, deadline for the deliver).

Partial Truck Load Freight (PTL)

Contrary to Groupage Freight service, the Partial Truck Load Freight service transports consignments (pallet, barrel, coll, carton, etc.) in one vehicle. The means of transport is selected by company who manages the transport (shipping company) according to relevant criteria selected by customer (size, weight, volume).

The means of transport is selected in such way so the transport would be the most effective, fast and economically efficient. Contrary to Express Transport, there is no focus on the speed of transport.

The consignments for which there is no need for the full truck load, but such consignments are limited in volume or weight. Groupage Freight service gather the consignments with the focus on the shipping’s economical and logical efficiency.

The consignments are typically transported for fixed prices – this is different in full truck load transport (see Full Truck Load Freight).
